We’re seeking dedicated canvassers to join the Saikat for Congress field team and help us engage San Francisco voters in meaningful conversations about key issues. As a canvasser, you’ll be knocking on doors, collecting voter information, and meeting daily goals while representing the campaign professionally. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about political change who want to make an impact. Key responsibilities include engaging voters for five or more hours per day, recording voter data, and providing field feedback to improve messaging. The position requires fluency in Cantonese and English, strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to progressive values. You should be comfortable with door-to-door outreach, have basic smartphone/tablet skills, and be physically able to walk through neighborhoods. Flexible hours are available, with full-time (30-40 hours) or part-time (15-25 hours) options. Preferred qualifications include fluency in another dialect spoken in San Francisco (Toisanese, Mandarin), prior canvassing or campaign experience, and knowledge of local communities. We offer competitive pay ($30-35/hour), comprehensive training, and a supportive team environment with regular coaching.
